Lake Erie is absolutely beautiful! We chose the Presque Isle Lighthouse side of the beach area because it allowed our dog to join us. This beach was unlike any beach we had been to before. Unlike most beaches, this water was extremely warm. This fact is one we found strange because the water felt like bath water! The sand was a light color and beautiful to look at. I would warn tourists that the beach has sand fleas in some areas!
