Five girls at Northwood Academy create a group called the Dating Games. The president of the club, Devon, created the group to help her friends get their first date. Most of the girls were hesitant to join, but they join anyway. Each girl assigns their friend the boy they want to date. They work on each other’s desired date to try and convince the boys to ask their friend.
This book is geared toward a teenage audience. It is Biblically based and includes the mentioning of Jesus and faith. One of the girls in the group struggles in her faith and is able to overcome her challenges. As a Christian, I particularly liked this book. Unlike most books, the author does not go over the top when talking about faith and what it means to have faith. This book is mostly about close-knit friendships and what good friends look like.
