The Final Sookie Stackhouse Novel
Sookie is back in this final installment of this vampire series. In this story, Sookie is once again ensconced with the super naturals in the Bon Temps area. This is the final book and some fan favorites return and some relationships are tested. Sookie is put on trial for murder and she needs the help and support of all those who know her. Things between Sookie, Eric and Sam heat up and Sookie will have some big decisions to make.
I have enjoyed all the Sookie Stackhouse novels. I love the way the author incorporates humor into all the stories. The characters are likable, and I found myself rooting for them. I really enjoyed how the relationships progressed and how Sookie begins to realize how loved she truly is. My only complaint with the story is that it does not tie everything up in a pretty bow at the end. I had to read the companion book “After Dead” to see who ends up together and what happened to the characters after this installation. However, that book goes through every character that has ever been in the Sookie books and lets you know how their lives progressed. It was satisfying to read and picture how their lives played out. Overall, another good read. I really enjoyed this book.
Great Book Review! I love your writing style and use of words. The book certainly seems interesting, isn’t it?
